It all started when…
Evaluation and Assessment Solutions for Education, LLC (EASE) was developed by two Stanford University professors, Drs. Anthony Antonio and Eric Bettinger. They recognized a need for high-quality evaluation and assessment in education, and EASE was born out of their desire to contribute to the national dialogue and understanding of educational outcomes through academic research and on-the-ground project evaluation. Their goal in evaluation is not just to measure impact but to provide guidance on actionable improvements and changes that can improve programs’ national scope and influence.
Since 2009, EASE has conducted evaluations and research studies for several national and regional organizations focusing on improving college access and success, particularly among underrepresented student populations. These projects include multi-year experimental and quasi-experimental designs, as well as qualitative case study work.
Today, EASE has three principal partners who lead researchers and data analysts in both qualitative and quantitative research.
